Hello and welcome! I am Alison, CEO and founder of a Oilean Wellness. I am a wife to Dave, my business partner and CEO and founder of Breton Group, St. John’s Minor Basketball & Rock Sports Academy. Together, we’ve raised 4 beautiful children & grown multiple businesses. I consider myself to be the luckiest woman -without my family, our experiences and our deep commitment to one another’s love-filled journeys and passions, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

Oilean was born in our dining room. Not an ideal space but I let my heart lead me. I Desperately desired to serve the people of our eastern island with services they could currently only find on the mainland . 3D Areola tattoo was my ‘5th baby’. I birthed a vision of offering Paramedical Tattoo to cancer survivors and continued to educate myself, eventually making that dream a reality. I Quickly discovered that Cosmetic and Paramedical Tattoo was not only an art form, but a fresh confidence and new identity for some people. I fell in love with my clients, their stories of triumph and knew I had to come up with a plan to get out of our dining room and into a clinic space-even though we were in the middle of a pandemic.

145 Aberdeen Avenue was our big plan we dreamed up-Newfoundland’s first Paramedical & Cosmetic Tattoo Clinic. A space designed perfectly for both my husband’s businesses as well as a clinic space for Oilean Wellness. We share the kitchen but have separate spaces to do what we love. When I walk into my clinic, I unapologetically shine my light- I know my purpose is this —and my passion is fulfilled. There is so much joy and meaning in our creation and in the transformations and healing I witness everyday.

Since opening our new location in 2021, I’ve not only expanded my services to include Scalp Micropigmentation, Scar Camouflage, Permanent Eyeliner, and Saline Removal, Yoga Classes and Reiki but I gained momentum and opened Oilean Academy. This venture empowers others to learn a new skill and make a difference in the lives of others. What a rewarding and powerful experience to watch others courageously take the tattoo gun in their hand! I developed two courses that include 2-day trainings with 3 live models. My students complete Nanobrow or Lip Blush training with everything they need to become successful PMU Artists, knowing they have a teacher who supports their growth at every stage.

My love for beauty started over 20 years ago, when I first trained in LCN, waxing, and pedicures. What began as a simple interest quickly grew into a lifelong passion for helping others feel confident and radiant.

In 2019, I followed my heart into the world of permanent makeup. I’ve been fortunate to learn from incredible artists and educators—training with Lash Forever Canada, Ink Boutique Houston, BrianBrows Halifax, and most recently, Next Level PMU. There in Toronto, I pushed myself further than ever before, competing and being recognized for my skill, passion, and dedication to this craft.
