Lip Blushing

Discover the art of creating soft, natural-looking lips with our Lip Blush training. This course teaches you how to enhance the shape, symmetry, and color of the lips using advanced cosmetic tattooing techniques. You’ll learn to achieve beautiful, long-lasting results that restore definition and add a youthful glow. Through hands-on practice with 3 live models, you’ll gain the confidence and experience needed to offer this highly sought-after service and elevate your career in permanent makeup.

Students are required to complete 2 live models in class with Instructor supervision. (Models can be provided for students from out of town – model Fee of -$75 is required when found by our Academy staff.)

Course Completion Certification will be given to students after our 2 day course together as well as completion of an additional 4 models on your own outside of class which will be graded and approved by our trainers via pictures and video submission.

Please note: Students will receive their certificate once they have completed a total of 4 additional models on their own that are a PASS. Students may be required to complete additional models if they did not receive a passing grade.

Lip Mapping
You will learn how to use the lip structure, along with your client’s natural edges and vermillion boarder to create a natural, flawless, even lip that will compliment your clients’ coloring and facial features perfectly.

Health and Safety
When performing permanent makeup techniques one must understand all the health and safety regulations associated with the process in order to provide the most sanitary, healthy environment for the client. You will be confident in your cleaning & disinfecting practices once this section is completed.

Colour Theory
We will cover color theory in detail. It’s so important to understand how to differentiate which color pigments to use on each individual client, how to mix shades together and how to correct undesired healed results.

Digital Marketing
A big part of your success in this industry will be how well you market yourself and your work. You will learn the best techniques for your before and after pictures and how to best use them in attracting your ideal client.

Students are responsible for supplying 3 models for this course. Please make sure your model meets the following requirements:

• Is reliable (if they do not show up you will not be able to practice hands on and will not receive a certificate of completion for the course)
• Can lay flat on their back for a long period of time (2 hours)
• If you cannot supply your own model we will supply one for you for a $75 fee.
• Must be able to take valtrex for prevention of cold sore
• Must not be taking blood thinners (coffee, alcohol, advil, aspirin, etc)
• Must not be nursing/pregnant

You can participate in these courses without a license, however; the province of Newfoundland requires a blood pathogen course be complete (CLICK HERE). Please provide proof of this course completion prior to attending the session at Oilean Academy.

What is Lip Blush?

Lip Blush is a semi-permanent tattoo technique that enhances the natural lip color, shape, and definition using soft pixel shading for a fresh, youthful look.

Do I need previous PMU experience?

No — beginners are welcome! We’ll guide you through everything from color theory and lip mapping to shading techniques and aftercare.

What’s included in the training?

How long is the course?

Usually 2 days (intensive and hands-on with 3 live models)

Yes, you’ll receive a Lip Blush Certification upon model submissions qualifying you to offer this service professionally.

6What’s the healing and retention like for Lip Blush?

Healing takes about 7–10 days. Results last 2–3 years, depending on skin type and lifestyle. You’ll learn how to explain this to your clients clearly.

Is the machine included?

Yes, your professional machine and pigment set are included in your kit (unless stated otherwise). This is an additional cost of $600

How many models will I work on?
