At Oileán Wellness, we believe healing extends beyond the physical—it’s about restoring harmony, confidence, and connection to your body.
Our Paramedical Scar Camouflage treatment uses advanced micropigmentation techniques to naturally blend scars, stretch marks, or areas of pigment loss with your surrounding skin tone. Through careful color matching and precise artistry, we help soften the appearance of surgical, trauma, or self-healing scars so you can feel more comfortable in your own skin.
Each session is approached with compassion and care, creating a safe space for your transformation. As your skin renews, so does your confidence—subtle, natural, and uniquely you.
Common Uses
Surgical scars (like C-section, tummy tuck, or mastectomy scars)
Self-harm or accident scars
Stretch marks
Vitiligo patches (when stable)
Skin grafts or injury-related discoloration
How It Works
The artist carefully blends pigments to match your natural skin.
The color is implanted into the dermal layer to disguise contrast between scar and skin.
Multiple sessions may be needed for best results, especially if the scar is textured or darker/lighter than your skin.
Important Notes
Works best on flat, mature scars (usually at least 12–18 months healed).
Not suitable for raised, red, or unstable scars.
Results last 2–5 years and can fade gradually as the skin naturally exfoliates.
Healing and pigment retention vary depending on skin type and scar condition.

After Care
After Care
First 24–48 hours
Keep the area clean and dry. Gently blot with a clean tissue if there’s lymph fluid or light oozing.
Avoid touching, rubbing, or picking. The area is an open wound, so hands off!
Do not apply makeup or heavy creams. If needed, a very thin layer of a sterile healing ointment (like Aquaphor or a tattoo balm) may be applied as directed by your artist.
Days 3–10
Expect light flaking or peeling. This is normal — do not pick or scrub.
Keep it lightly moisturized. Apply a thin layer of healing ointment 2–3 times daily to prevent dryness.
Avoid water immersion. No swimming, saunas, or long showers — quick, gentle cleansing only.
Avoid sweating and sun exposure. Heat and UV can cause pigment to fade or blur before it’s set.
Weeks 2–4
The color will lighten. Initial pigment often looks darker and may appear uneven until the skin fully heals.
Protect your skin. Once healed, use SPF 30+ daily on the area to prevent fading and protect your results.
Avoid exfoliants and active skincare (like retinol, acids, or scrubs) on the treated area for at least 4 weeks.
Long-Term Care
Hydrate your skin regularly and protect it from the sun.
Expect to return for a touch-up session 6–8 weeks later to refine color and blending once your skin is fully healed.
With proper care, results can last 2–5 years, fading gradually and naturally.
